My Introduction
I am Ezequiel Giampaoli, a Quality Control Technician & BI Support Analyst based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I work at the intersection of technical operations, quality systems, and data — and I'm actively building toward Analytics Engineering.
Currently, I work at AML Oceanographic Ltd as a Quality Control Technician & BI Support Analyst, where I lead calibration, validation, and quality assurance of high-precision oceanographic instruments, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, and write Epicor ERP BAQs for operational and business unit reporting. Both functions are formally part of my role. I also serve as Co-Chair of the Joint Health & Safety Committee, supporting regulatory compliance across departments.
My software background spans frontend and backend: I've built web applications using Angular (TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and Python (Django), integrated REST APIs, and delivered full-stack projects including a university banking platform where I acted as Scrum Master and developer. I also have hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, Node.js, C#/.NET, and WordPress.
My formal education includes a Advanced Technical Degree in Web Development & Digital Applications from ISPC (2022–2024), a year at UTN (National Technological University, Argentina) studying programming, and certifications through Oracle Next Education (ONE), Argentina Programa, and UBA's AI Multidisciplinary Training Program.
Current focus: quality operations, ERP and BI support, SQL, and Analytics Engineering — PostgreSQL, dbt, and cloud data platforms. I'm building toward roles where data pipelines, operational systems, and business decisions connect directly.
